Privacy Policy

AI Invoice Maker is a professional invoicing application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

By default, the following data is stored locally in your browser on your device:

• Company profiles, including name, address, email, phone, and TRN/VAT details
• Bank account details you add
• Saved client and vendor profiles
• Invoice history, draft data, and generated PDF invoices
• Template choices and app preferences
• Digital signature and company stamp images
• Settings for each company you manage

This local data stays on your device unless you choose a feature that sends specific information to our servers or to your own Google account, as described below.

When you choose to use the AI Invoice Assistant, your message and the invoice context needed to answer it are sent securely through AI Invoice Maker's backend to the AI service.

• Processing happens only when you send a prompt or follow-up in the assistant
• We send the prompt and relevant draft or app context — not your full invoice library or complete device backup
• Responses are returned to your browser so you can review, edit, preview, or export locally
• The assistant requires an internet connection and does not run fully offline

We do not describe AI use as uploading your entire invoice database, and we do not store your full invoice history on our servers for this feature.

When you choose Send Invoice, the app uses our server only to deliver the email you request.

• You choose the recipient, subject, and when to send
• The invoice PDF and email details needed for delivery are transmitted for that send action
• Email is not sent automatically — nothing is emailed unless you start it
• PDF creation itself still happens on your device before you choose to email

Google Drive backup is optional and only runs when you connect your Google account and start a backup or sync action.

• We request only the drive.file scope — the most limited permission available
• We can only access files created by this app, not your entire Drive
• Your connected Google email is stored locally to show which account is linked
• Backup and PDF sync are initiated by you from Backup and Drive — they do not run by themselves
• Backup files are saved to your own Google Drive under your Google account
• You can disconnect Google Drive anytime from the Backup tab

To keep the app reliable and secure, limited technical diagnostics or usage events may be processed when you use the app.

• Examples include feature usage labels, error reports, app version, browser/device type, and session identifiers
• This is limited operational data — not advertising profiles or continuous tracking across other websites
• It helps us understand crashes, failed actions, and which parts of the app need improvement
• We do not use this for ad targeting or sell it to data brokers

• We do NOT maintain a central account database of your invoices, clients, banks, or company records
• We do NOT use advertising trackers or sell your personal data
• We do NOT access your contacts, camera, or microphone
• We do NOT read your entire Google Drive — only files this app created when you choose backup
• We do NOT upload your full invoice library unless you explicitly use AI, email, or backup features described above

Because your invoice data is stored locally by default, you have direct control:

• Delete data: Use Reset All Data in Settings
• Export data: Use the Export Backup feature
• Google Drive: Disconnect anytime, delete files from your own Drive
